Life Fitness Strides Right With Enhanced Series of Elliptical Cross-Trainers For The Home |
SCHILLER PARK, Ill. (Aug. 6, 2008) – Life Fitness knows that when it comes to elliptical cross-trainers, it’s all about the stride. This is why the company’s latest duo of cross-trainers features a smooth, quiet experience based on the biomechanically-correct motion enjoyed in health clubs around the world.
While the new X1 and X3 elliptical cross-trainers each provide unique levels of functionality, both deliver the company’s patented WhisperStrideTM Technology for quieter home use. “We’ve put the research and testing into our elliptical cross-trainer designs to deliver a health-club quality experience at home,” said John Stransky, president of Life Fitness. “We also worked to address the finer details for home use like making the machines safe, space-efficient and quiet for close quarters.”
The new series of elliptical cross-trainers comes with the choice of either a Basic or Advanced Workouts Console that features a sharp LCD display with crisp, easy-to-read graphics and text. The Basic Workouts Console includes five exercise programs, while the Advanced Workouts Console provides the variety of 10 programs and the ability to create two user profiles for households with more than one exerciser. The Advanced Workouts Console also includes a wireless heart rate monitor.
Get on and Go
The X1 Elliptical Cross-Trainer addresses the core demands of the home gym with a high-quality, total-body motion with an incredibly natural, comfortable stride.
Oversized, dual cup holders keep accessories in check, and a built-in rack on the console makes reading a breeze.
Get in the Zone
Designed with the same quality standards as the X1, the X3 Elliptical Cross-Trainer includes the unique CoachZone™ Activity Zone, which acts like a personal trainer to keep exercisers motivated. The Arm Toner and Glute Toner Workout Enhancements direct exercisers into certain workout motions to help tone the upper and lower body and displays those muscle target areas in the Activity Zone during the workout. A separate timer breaks down the workout, counting down the minutes remaining on a given motion. It also provides easily accessible resistance level changes.
