Life Fitness Hires Tom Pappas to Lead International Marketing |
SCHILLER PARK, Ill. – Dec. 19, 2006 – Tom Pappas has joined Life Fitness as Marketing Director responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As part of his new role, Pappas will channel the values and messages of Life Fitness to further strengthen the organization’s global position and align the necessary marketing components essential for future growth.
Pappas brings 14 years diverse experience in leadership, international marketing and business development to his new role. His most recent position was Director of EMEA Marketing for Progress Software, where he built an EMEA marketing organization supporting five regions and 16 countries in Europe and South Africa. Pappas also held international marketing posts at Nortel Networks and Bay Networks.
A former U.S. Army and NATO officer, Pappas graduated from the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point where he was certified as a Master Fitness Trainer. He also received an international master’s degree with focus on marketing from Nijenrode, Netherlands Business School. He currently lives with his family in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
